Met at Victory Road (level 40) | 09/08/2020 Dirk caught Phobos after coming across the Mienshao in flight from another Pokemon. Only after catching him did Dirk learn anything about him--for example, how ridiculously Timid he is. Phobos prefers to hide behind Phoebe as much as possible and is never more enthusiastic than when using moves like U-Turn or Fake Out that allow him to turn tail on a fight (or strike first and avoid getting hit entirely.) Maybe his cowardice has something to do with the fact that Mienfoo aren't normally capable of evolution until level fifty--which is another ten levels higher than Dirk found Phobos at to begin with. Or maybe he's just a fleet-footed scaredy-weasel.
