[Basics] Height: 5'5" Eyes: Orange (covered by triangular, polarised shades) Hair: Near-White Ethnicity: Asian Speech: (Affected) Texan drawl paired with very precise enunciation. Sucks at volume control and errs towards too quiet. Notable Marks: He has one tattoo above his right bicep, which is totally awesome and personally meaningful. He also has a motley collection of scars, including one oriented vertically over his mouth.

What's this about Psychic types?
Due to the absolute nightmare that is Dirk's Ultimate Self (or as much of that as can be stuffed into a regular-ass human brain/body/soul), Psychic types fucking hate him. Most of them want to be nowhere near him, but Pokemon with Trainers (and occasionally wild Pokemon) can turn aggressive instead. He's gotten used to it.

Neck Scars?
Nope! It's a popular fanon, but he was healed magically every time he was decapitated (or just moved into his Dream Self's body full-time), so he never scarred. No magical healing for intercepting a battlebot with your face on live TV, though.

He's SHORT?
Three words: early childhood malnutrition. Bro Strider grew taller than Alpha Dirk, who stopped growing in his early to mid teens.

Is that facial hair?
Scruffily, yes. Sometimes when you are Asian and even vaguely short, you make decisions about your personal appearance that are motivated entirely by the desire to stop people from offering you a children's menu at restaurants.

Dirk got the snakebites done after defeating the Elite Four (which is also after Connie Maheswaran and Emet-Selch both canon updated.) Part ironic gesture, part physical experiment regarding the boundaries of this reality should he ever experience a canon update himself.

But it turns out some Slowbro are too stupid to keep their tails on... and Dirk just kind of bent down and picked this thing up out of the dirt so now she's his. He's offered her a Water Stone and the chance to take her anger out on the Elite Four if she'll cooperate with him, and it seems she finds this arrangement.... acceptable.

Only after catching him did Dirk learn anything about him--for example, how ridiculously Timid he is. Phobos prefers to hide behind Phoebe as much as possible and is never more enthusiastic than when using moves like U-Turn or Fake Out that allow him to turn tail on a fight (or strike first and avoid getting hit entirely.) Maybe his cowardice has something to do with the fact that Mienfoo aren't normally capable of evolution until level fifty--which is another ten levels higher than Dirk found Phobos at to begin with. Or maybe he's just a fleet-footed scaredy-weasel.

He's definitely not fierce and fast and free like Acorn, or independent and high-strung like Arion... truthfully, he misses the easy life, but the amount of spoiling (treats, petting, participation in the bulk of Dirk's social life) involved in belonging to Dirk Strider compensates at least a little bit. Also, it doesn't take a lot for him to flatten his opponents. So he doesn't have to "toughen up" the way he might if weren't a grass-powered bulldozer of a beast. Dirk has been trying to change his name, but... it hasn't worked.

Her first impression of another living thing was peering into the mind of a man who desperately wanted Dirk back, who wanted Dirk to love him. This formed her first impression of Dirk. Dirk, who was not ready to even see Emet again, was not happy to be delivered this fragile, adorable creature he wanted desperately to love him (while he did not want Emet to love him, nor did he want to feel anything even resembling 'love' for Emet himself.) This turned into a whole Thing where she was barely hours old and suddenly carrying the extremely heavy load of her two dads' entire relationship and their histories and also she had just been exposed to Dirk "I Am My Ultimate Self" Strider. Even the process of naming her was an ordeal, as Dirk's intention to name her after the most fitting My Little Pony figure clashed with his thematic aversion to the ocean. Ultimately pedantry won, but it's all just been an awful lot for an hours-old baby to take on, as burdens go.

Specifically, Dirk discovered that Dreepy love to be thrown at high speeds (don't ask how he figured this out.... let's just say that Dirk's paternal instincts are not protective in nature), and began hucking it at the wall like a dart to kill time and let off some steam. Cola and Fermat the Carnivine (another one of Dirk's undisputed favourites) have also bonded, in part because his head is the perfect kind of nearly-flat plane for it to feel right at home.
